I was off to England for a wedding a few weeks ago, thought I would share my diet with you.  Trying to do a major diet before an important occasion can be real Stressful as many of you know, especially if you need a dress!

The Stress Diet 

This  diet is designed to help you cope with the stress that builds up during the day. 
Instructions for Stress Diet

BREAKFAST: 
1/2 grapefruit 
1 slice whole wheat toast 
8 oz. skim milk

LUNCH: 
4 oz. lean broiled chicken breast 
1 cup steamed spinach 
1 cup herb tea 
1 Oreo cookie

MID-AFTERNOON SNACK: 
The rest of Oreos in the package 
2 pints Rocky Road ice cream, nuts, cherries and whipped cream 
1 jar hot fudge sauce

DINNER: 
2 loaves garlic bread 
4 cans or 1 large pitcher Coke 
1 large sausage, mushroom and cheese pizza 
3 Snickers bars

LATE EVENING NEWS: 
Entire frozen Sara Lee cheesecake (eaten directly from freezer) 

RULES FOR THIS DIET:

1. If you eat something and no one sees you eat it, it has no calories. 
2. If you drink a diet soda with a candy bar, the diet soda cancels out the calories in the candy bar. 
3. When you eat with someone else, calories don’t count if you do not eat more than they do. 
4. Food used for medicinal purposes NEVER counts, such as hot chocolate, brand

  • January and February are the best times for bargains.
  • June and December are the worst
  • Try to buy items slightly off-season, that is the time the retailer needs to clear the floor for new merchandise.
  • When these items are on sale, look for value pieces that will last and give you items to build a wardrobe around.©

Called the Lean Column, Ruler or the Sporty Physique Shape:

This shape is enviable by many especially in the fashion industry, magazine print media and runways. As well as super models many beautiful celebrities are blessed with this shape.

Characteristics of an this Lean Shape.

  • A small bust or flat chest
  • Narrow shoulders
  • Flat bottom
  • Long, lean arms and legs
  • Small narrow hips
  • Small and undefined waist

 


Your main style aims are…is .to create roundness, shape and layers to shorten the length of your long lean body.

What to wear

  • A-line, bias cut, warp and pencil skirts look great. your shape allows you to wear your skirts a little shorter to show of your beautiful long legs. 
  • Coats and jackets with detailed shoulders, belted styles help to accentuate your waist giving it definition and roundness.
  • Use horizontal line, floral and dot patterns, breast pockets, and layer to add volume for your tops, blouses and sweaters.
  • Dresses with princess lines, darts and details. Wraps also work well
  • Look for pants that are shaped, with side pockets. pleats and decorations to add curves.  Tapered legs look fabulous too.

  • A well defined waist – 9″ or more smaller than bust.
  • Full Bust
  • Shapely Legs.
  • Bust & hips are equally proportioned
  • Your body has a naturally balanced shape.
  • Curved neat bottom

 

Your main style aims are….to emphasize your curves, especially your waist, without adding bulk

Many beautiful women are a Rectangle shape:

  • Do you have a smaller bosom?
  • Do you wear the same size tops and bottoms?
  • Is there little definition in your waist?
  • Are your hips and shoulders the same width?
  • Do you have flat hips and thighs?

Then you have a Rectangle

Your goal is to create curves and define your waist.

What to wear.

  • Shoulder pads to emphasize your shoulders. This may sound very 80’s advice, but they really do work. However, they should not be too large and definitely shouldn’t be visible. 
  • Semi-fitted clothes
